Essentially, put in the work, but she's an easy marker. As long as you follow the rubric, it will be an A. Her tests don't question you on the unknown, instead she ensures to ask questions either previously asked in her notes or take them directly from her notes! Amazing feedback, but discussion posts weekly (200-250, one reply)
She is a friendly and caring instructor, and her marking is fair.
Really down to earth professor. Midterm and final exam are exactly what she tells you to study for. Do that and you'll do well on those, then there is discussion posts and group projects. Simply do what she asks and you will do well. Quite hard to find profs like this at TMU.
Great professor! Marks fair and her criteria is very clear which is nice. I really enjoyed both the content and projects for this course and I learned a lot.
She is a fair grader. Nidhi has very high expectations of her students and attendance is mandatory as there is a 2% reflection due every class and you can't do from home. The textbooks not relied upon heavily but there are some questions about readings from it in exams and you may need to reference for some projects. I got away with sharing 1 copy
Overall, professor Nidhi was a great lecturer, she often expressed that attendance was mandatory, however, its not. I recommend attending her classes and participating, as she will remember you and she appreciates class conversation. Her marking is lenient, great class over, just talks too much and goes til the last minute of class.
As someone who attended her class twice, I got an A-. Do the readings! or know the basis of them. Her tests are heavily based on readings, and very specific. other than that, do the discussion board and you can achieve an A- or higher.
Her lectures do tend to be long but her tests and assignments are okay!
Nidhi is a nice professor, however her lectures are pretty boring. Her assignments are fairly easy but not very clear, make sure you email her to clarification. As for test, it is open book, but do at least know what the content is about because the question on the test are worded differently. Most of the questions are based off of the readings.
