Kyle is hands down the best professor I've ever had at Ryerson University. Kyle is one of the few profs that actually takes the time to get to know each and every student (at least their names memorized) and always is open to strike a conversation before or after class. Very knowledgeable about the City of Toronto and overall a gem! 10/10
Didnt like him at first, lecture heavy and serious. But he is super friendly and talkative. Knows the city of Toronto really well. Mad respect for Kyle.
He is pretty knowledgeable with what he was teaching. I found that the mid-term was okay. The questions and answers were usually discussed in the beginning of classes kind of as a recap. The group presentation was relatively light as well depending on your part. The finals question was given before hand so you could prepare for it.
This prof is probably the worst prof I had during my first semester. His lectures contain a decent amount of information but he speaks about things that are not on the slides and its very hard to listen and type everything at the same time. He gives all the midterm questions before each class so make sure to listen!! Also VERY PICKY with wording!!!
Arguably the best prof i've ever had. Very straight forward and an easy class to boost your GPA! The amount of effort put in will reflect in your final mark. He is very liberal so do not argue anything in an essay or seminar from a right wing perspective because he will not agree and will call you out
Honestly, he is a great prof for this course and he was a councillor for the City of Toronto. He knows the material well and if you listen and attend class you will do just fine. HE GIVES THE MIDTERM QUESTION IN THE BEGINNING OF EVERY LECTURE SO PAY ATTENTION AND TAKE NOTES. Exam was take home and the seminar was easy as well
Very understandable, it's clear he enjoys talking about politics and makes the class a pleasure to attend. Compared to the usual profs, he's way more entertaining and teaches with clarity.
Best teacher. Kyle makes lectures interesting and actually cares about his students. Would take again
To be honest, he's a cool guy. You have to participate in his class (at least for POL123) for marks though, and you should really attend his classes because he doesn't read off the slides. He's a nice guy to talk to too, and doesn't mind striking a conversation before or after class. If you have any questions, he'll be happy to answer.
He knows what he is teaching, good prof for the first year.
