amazing and kind and cares about students opinions
Second class with Dr. Cucuz; I cannot recommend her enough! Go to her office hours, talk to her and you will thrive even more. Seminar participation is a MUST, but honestly it helped me build up confidence, so I am grateful for them. Iconic prof!
She's a really tough grader I recommand not taking any of her courses if your trying to Boost your GPA
Dr. Cucuz is such an amazing prof. She gives amazing advice and doesn't mark too harshly. Her seminars are actually fun if you put in the reading and speak. She is my fave prof at TMU and I wish she taught more upper year courses💔 10/10 prof, accommodating and kind.
Dr. Cucuz was extremely kind and showed a lot of compassion towards me. I found course content to be interesting and different. Remember to participate as those marks saved me! I had a pretty good experience with her.
Dr. Cucuz was an excellent professor. She was kind, considerate and offered extensions on assignments, including resubmissions when necessary because she wanted to ensure that you were on the right track for the major essay. I am not a history major, and wasn't sure what to expect, but I would recommend any of her courses.
Although the tech troubles and late-evening seminars were frustrating, CHST 658 is one of my FAVOURITE classes I have ever taken. Everything is take-home, minus 15% of grade is live seminar discussions. She is kind, approachable, and speaks to interesting events in the context of feminism. She extended deadlines, which was much appreciated. :)
I'm sure she's lovely in-person, but the lack of digital literacy ruined this course for me. Dr. Cucuz made a synchronous course into an asynchronous one, rescheduled the first class x3, and messed up the exam dropbox to the point where we couldn't submit exams until 1 hour before the deadline. I can't list all my complaints in 350 words :(
Dr. Diana was a great professor to have for my last semester of university. I enjoyed her lectures, and especially the seminars, which were held three times in the semester. The discussions were really interesting. If you attended her office hours or saw her after class she was very helpful with assignments and feedback.
