Took Law 122 in Chang school and there was no lectures just slides. Prof expects too much and gives little resources for students to do well. Did all the readings, answered all the questions, and read all the slides but was graded harshly for an online courses with no lectures. Criteria for participation marks were unclear and he is hard to reach.
Like any LAW class, it's very textbook heavy. However, his lectures are very informative and they help a lot with the tests. He is also very accessible and goes the extra mile to help if you have any questions
His lectures were extremely helpful even during the pandemic. He isn't a hard marker he just wants clear and concise answers for his exams. There were no surprises on the exam, if you went to class you could easily get above 80% Covid made online learning really hard which made me especially grateful for this prof.
Honestly, all the people saying he's a hard marker probably didn't even try on the exams lmao. Cause all he wants is jot points for the short answers as long as your answers are clear. I barely gave proper answers and I Still got above 80+ on his exams. He knows his materials, and his exams are super fair. Basically everything he teaches In class.
He speaks very fast that I can't catch him. He doesn't give you written solutions for written examples. Has only midterm 45% and final 55%. His exams are all short answers. If you don't write what is on his mind, he would rather give you a zero in that question. No credit or bonus marks at all. I don't recommend this professor at all.
Avoid!!! Unable to provide an effective online course and extremely unaccommodating. Will barely interact with students. Very harsh grader and all assessments were written work. Expected way too much but didnt provide the resources for us to do well.
The tests are filled with word problems and the participation criteria is not too clear. Although if you read the textbook you should be fine.
The midterm was MC and exam written. open book. He is willing to answer questions and is entertaining. He marks written work harshly and will not give bonus marks. The class average was affected after the exam since no one knew how to form a full written answer properly. His slides had cases with no answers and the textbook was also answers free.
fun guy who makes the course very straightforward
