What an amazing professor. He is one of the very few who puts in a lot of effort into every minute detail. I always remember him coming to my seat during lecture breaks just to talk which is unheard of. I would gladly take him again if possible.
Looking back, I think Yazdani has an amazing gift of teaching. He makes electronics so much easier to understand compared to circuit theory and has a relatively easy-going personality. Speaking of which, I wish he taught ELE202 and ELE302 as those are dull courses; Yazdani makes it fun, yet challenging.
His exams were some of the most difficult I have ever written in my life. However, he teaches very clear and is funny at times.
Great professor. Go to class and learn. Start the projects early as they can take some time to do. Midterm and final were fair.
Go to lectures, online notes dont teach enough. Midterms and final are hard, but you get a lot of part marks.
Labs for once are actually helpful. He has low ratings because he combines topics on tests which people aren't prepared for. He wants you to really know your stuff, so if you do its not hard, but if you don't then its extremely hard. Also people underestimated the work required for the design project, so start early, and you'll actually learn more.
Not a nice guy at all. Too important and self-absorbed to respond to emails. Lack of professionalism, and not a good role model. Midterm was fair, final was apparently incredibly hard.
Horrible class that is incredibly boring. His midterm was fair but it was marked incredibly hard. The final exam was the hardest exam I've ever taken before. I sent him 5 emails and he still hasnt responded to me.
Awesome professor with vast industry knowledge, but a tough grader with high expectations. The good news is that most of the knowledge learnt is applicable in many different areas. The highlight of the course was when the author of the textbook came and delivered the penultimate lecture.
