Amir Kiumarsi

Professor Kiumarsi is an excellent and dedicated instructor. Despite the challenging nature of the course, he ensures that his students are well-supported and sets them up for success. The weekly tests are great preparation for the final exam. He takes the time to thoroughly address any questions and is consistently responsive via email.

Incredibly caring professor who takes the extra time for students to understand complicated organic chemistry concepts. He explains concepts very well and NEVER belittles or acts condescending against students who ask even the simplest questions. Weekly quizzes were a lot but kept you accountable in such a content heavy course. Great prof!

Amazing prof, who cared a lot about students. Spent lot of time in the lectures explaining things until clear. After getting a F the first time, I was amazed to get an A when learning CHY 142 from him.

He is great. If you need a good grade he would be the best option for you.

Professor Kiumarsi is such a nice and genuine person. I have taken Chemistry before and he is by far the best professor, he cares about his students and wants them to do well, so it was overall a good course. Online teaching is tough, but he made sure not to overwhelm his students and focused on the important things. He is also a fair grader.

i took stats with him 2 years ago. he's a very genuine and caring professor. he's always willing to help and gives lots of opportunities for extra marks. 10/10 would recommend

I had the privilege of having Dr. Kiumarsi as my Organic I professor last semester. He is by far one of the best professors. Very patiently makes sure you learn, engages the student and above all shows that he cares which is the most important trait in a teacher.

I took him for both CHY142 Aand CHY242 he is by far one of my favourite professors! He gives you so many chances to Ace his class with bonus marks and he is an easy marker. He also does assignments that are due every week but only checks for participation so that's already an easy 10%. AMAZING PROF definitely recommend!!

Had him for CMTH380. Amazing prof, he wants you to do well. Easy quizzes and straight forward lecture slides. No textbook needed. Got an A- he really helps you get the grade you want as long as you talk to him!
