Honestly I'm surprised by the other reviews on here. I took Monica in chang school so maybe that is why it was easier for me. She is a nice prof. If you miss the deadline or due date for online quizzes, she will reopen them for you! She encourages in-class participation and group projects. The material is science-heavy, but she is helpful.

Skip lecs to self study. Her slides r very long and very wordy. unapproachable in general. The midterms and final was very stress inducing. However she does reuse questions. She started appearing in my dreams...

RMP seems to be censoring all the things I have to say about her so take that as a sign, avoid her at all costs. It was an unpleseant semester, midterms were not easy, so much content with such little time. You might as well just skip lec and study, and if you didn't do well in BLG311 pls really consider if u want to take 411.

She is harsh and blunt, especially in emails, which makes her unapproachable. Just mean overall. Tests are fair and reflect the material but you'll need to teach yourself a lot outside of lecture. You can do decent, just be prepared to self-study.

seriously the worst prof i have had im being so fr. so incredibly rude, disorganized, and horrid exams. sure the tests r the content we have covered, but she asks such detailed questions, and u need to memorize every single thing cause she will test everything/anything possible. expects u to kjnow things as if we r in med school

why is she allowed to treat her students the way she does? does she not know this is a canadian school where berating students has consequences?? faculty needs to hire more respectful and suitable professors

This course is not even hard. The tests are fair and theres not a long amount of material to memorize or anything. Not a very welcoming person.

genuinely have never experienced a professor this bad, this class never fails to make me insecure of my academic capabilities. i dreaded my second semester because of this course. i feel like everything she does is aimed to make us do bad. she does not want you to succeed by any means. most unapproachable professor, let alone human being.

I think TMU needs money, thats why they are failing the class so that they can make money! No international , no money.

do not take her !! It's like you don't even know what she's asking u on the exams. makes everything unnecessarily difficult.
