Had Brony again after 842. Explains the concepts very thoroughly, especially the weekly cases and brings his exp to lectures. Technical is easy with enough practice. Case is frustrating because your points must hit relevant points on the marking key so that explains why class avg is so low. He won't be teaching for a while but a great prof overall!
Professor Fong is a very knowledgeable teacher. However he marks the midterm and final too hard. Do the homework problems come to class and understand concepts. Don't let a bad mark discourage you because it will never reflect how much of accounting you know :)
Clearly worst professor! Didn't have course outline nor PPT's until 2nd week in class and would NEVER reply to any E-Mail, post an incorrect formula for mid-term cheatsheet and wouldn't post the answers for the midterm afterwards eventhough final exam would have part of the midterm on it. PPT's would only be uploaded later in the same day as clas
He is so good that I think his job should be to teach other professors at Ryerson how to teach. Take him if you have the opportunity. He’s got the drive, the passion, the attitude, the knowledge, the brain...
Brony is a part time faculty proff. I definitely recommend taking him. The course in itself is a bit challenging esp Rollovers ( Sec 85,85.1,84.1,87,88 etc). But he explains it well and with real life examples where required. Midterm and final exams are fair. I just wish he taught more courses at Ryerson . Maybe Adv actg or adv aud.
Brony is young and very knowledgeable. He also occasionally shows real life examples. His resources and explanations are fantastic and he drops hints on what to study. 842 is challenging and you must study the material on a weekly basis. He also holds tax workshops the week before exams. Fair exams and marking scheme. I definitely recommend him!
Hard Class. Great prof! take it with him if you can
He is probably the best professor I've ever had at Ryerson. He is very dedicated. He even spent one weekend to do a tax workshop. The course itself is hard, but he explains the material well. He makes sure the students understand it. Take it with him. His exam and his marking are fair.
