I took CPSY706 with Noah, which was truly an amazing course. So I took this course thinking it would go well. I put in 100% effort, I reached out for more feedback, and I got nothing. I just hope that the next cohort that takes this has a clearer rubric to follow because I think many would benefit from learning what this course has to offer.
Don't this course with him! I don't think he's marking fairly given every assignment is being opened and returned within a day. How can you expect to improve if there is no feedback and no response to emails? Even after answering all questions in the instructions, he's docking off marks for things I don't know! I just wanted to graduate bro :(
He's great compared to others, I would know as I've had six other courses in PSY with worse. Just do your best and you'll make it thru
Professor was MIA all semester and didn't return marks. It was impossible to know your standing in the course.
Extremely frustrating experience. Feedback on assignments felt generic. Grading was also very slow. This was one of the least helpful and most disappointing courses I've taken.
Took CPSY614 with him, it felt like I a- learned nothing, b- received zero feedback on how to improve. It is true what the rest of the people are saying in terms that he goes MIA after first few weeks, doesn't particularly reply to emails or discussion section Q&A.
AVOID! Not only is he super late to grade assignments and you won't know your final grade until long after the semester, but his assignments have little to no rubric or formatting to go off of, not to mention he gives almost no feedback on them and grades harshly. I would avoid taking his class at all costs.
Does the prof know he's teaching this course? Poorly managed. Late grading. I'm a straight A student but had to drop the course for my GPA.
Only semi-easy thing about this course was the 3 tests (which were fs not written by Noah himself). Although they have to be completed using lockdown browser with your camera and mic on. Noah was basically a ghost the whole semester. Then returned harshly-graded assignments with 0 feedback. He didn't even bother replying to student emails. Avoid!!
He posted MAX 5 announcements throughout the WHOLE semester and took forever to mark assignments (+ marked VERYYY harshly with 0 feedback). His course outline says you can submit a portion of your final assignment prior to the due date for constructive feedback but he didn't even reply to anyone's requests for feedback (even after follow-up emails)
