Absolutely boairng and uninspiring. Pass if you can.

This professor is so boring, he never gets to the point of what he is saying and seemingly bores his class to sleep. Nobody goes to lectures anymore and to top it off he makes us watch his hour long online lectures too. I wish there was a way to speed up his class.

An online class can't have much less work than this. Weekly assignments and class discussion were a great way to reinforce the topics one concept at a time, and they were easy if you read the weekly 10 pages. If you're interested in the course, you'll do well and enjoy the time you put into it with this professor

He is knowledgeable, but hard marker ,makes class discussions .His TA marks assignments and exams. TA is a very hard marker who doesn't know anything. if he doesn't agree to your point he just comment Vague and will deduct marks. if you do grade appeal to professor he is not much of a help at all Either . I would not recommend this professor .

Great Prof. Very thorough and uses plenty of examples. Fair, honest and friendly. Also, very passionate about what he does and that helps get you interested in the topics.

Professor Boase is extremely helpful and is passionate about this class. The weekly quizzes and in class participation marks are tedious but are worth it in the end as a grade booster. Midterm was easy, just read the text. Group assignment was also simple, and there is no final exam just a final paper which is more of a personal paper.

Great online course! I was confused when signing up because RAMMS made it sound like it was a regular class. But it was all online, and I could watch the lectures any time I wanted. You just need to do the weekly assignments and discussion before the deadline and you are golden!

Nice guy but his teaching method is very dry. The way the course is taught must have changed because we did not have weekly assignments. It's an easy class to do well in.

This class has a lot of extra work involved. Every week you have two written assignments due consisting of a written hand in assignment and a discussion board posting. The prof is helpful and his TA marked hard without justifying reasoning. Prof's teaching style is a bit boring but there were no tests, just lots of group activities.

You have to do so much work for participation marks that are worth next to nothing compared to the real assignments. And to top that off he doesn't do much to make the lectures any interesting. Definitely not a fun class.
