This was really bad .. Don't take this as an elective with him! I used to really like economics but after taking econ with him, never again. He marks really hard, can't teach, and did not make econ enjoyable to learn at all. Don't take this as an elective. He is also arrogant in class.
Took this in the summer and it wasn't too bad. 2 quizzes, 2 midterms and a final. Class was useless though as I didn't understand a thing he said due to his thick accent. He gets frustrated easily but he's a nice guy. Quizzes were also on the midterm so that helped but it is pretty hard if economics is not your strength. Self teach or get a tutor.
Part-time professor from York Uni. Fairly easy subject for anyone who has a background in economics, otherwise you are screwed. He seems to have enough knowledge to deliver the subject but, he has brutally bad oral communication with lack of devotion to students and the lectures.
Professor Lee is very hard to understand because of his accent. However, this class doesn't really need a professor because the textbook is very good at explaining everything. He provides excellent test samples that are very similar to his actual tests. Promptly replies to e-mails as well. All around good prof
Very nice and friendly professor! Always replies to emails, cares for his students. Also he posts notes online, which are very useful for studying.
Great professor. Teaches well and easy tests and exams.
Apart from his accent he wasn't clear and enthusiastic while teaching. His lectures seem easy but it doesn't prepare you for the final exam at all.
Great Prof. David Lee always replies to emails, and the exam and assignment were very fair. It isn't hard to do well, as long as you put in the time and effort to study the practice questions before the exam. Make sure you study and know all the practice questions inside and out before the exam and you will do well. Great prof.
The material for intermediate macro ii is fairly straightforward, read the book, show up, and learn the models. The key to this course are his lecture notes and the practise tests. You can tell he also loves to talk about history which is nice because it puts things in context. Lee is a stand up professor and you would be lucky to have him.
The professor wasn't clear, is not friendly, and did not care for his students. Never replied to any email that was sent. Overall disappointing
