Lectures could be a bit more structured. Can sometimes be unclear with expectations. However, if you participate, ask questions, seek clarification, etc., while being respectful, you should do well in the course. He is not a hard grader.
He was a decent prof. We had 4 online quizzes which were not too hard if you studied all the materials (a lot of them) and a 25% group project which he marked generously. He is hard to reach by email because he does not always reply but when he does he makes sure he's rude to you no matter what. All arrogant and grumpy. Still a 6/10.
Modules don't help as much as you'd like with test questions even though they're all 'term' and 'application' reliant. The online test questions don't have definite answers some of the time - seems inconsistent. You'll know what I mean once you do them. I needed to take for credit but looks like there aren't many options either way - good luck.
Managerial Economics is hard but Usman was still a good prof, was very understanding as well.
The course is asynchronous but he provided frequent updates. Discussion boards are graded as a bonus but they are really important as discussion topics show up on the exams. Grading was a little tough for group assignments, though he provides lots of feedback so make sure to use it to do better on the next assignment.
Listen to the lectures and take notes. it can be helpful to answer some of the questions on the exams. Exams are a bit long compared to the amount of time given, but overall it is achievable.
Steer clear from this professor. One of the worst professors I had at Ryerson. It takes him so long to say something and is really unclear. Can't even learn anything from him. The textbook will be your best friend for this course.
Great professor for the course. The course lasted approximately seven weeks, resulting in us having two lectures every week. He explained everything and got grades back to us in a swift manner. He was also available outside of class hours to help us.
Great prof, lectures are a little dry but just read the textbook and youll be fine. Easy marker too!
great prof. make sure you buy a textbook and read it! that way you'll do well on the exams. He's also a very quick when it comes to grading our exams and assignments
