Her teaching style is odd, she gives quizzes that the end of class as a weird scheme to get people to show up. She crams as much content in each lecture as possible and still manages to give lots of examples, the notes are posted online after the lectures. She's nice and approachable.
Good prof, notes are very neat, lectures are easy to understand and notes are online too. Never even opened the textbook for this course and did well as she is a good prof and the textbook was just not necessary (though I had some prior knowledge). She doesn't like laptops in the lectures though, which is kind of a shame as I take notes on mine.
Dont bother going to class she posts the notes online anyway. Shes super easy and doesn't give a lot of homework. The midterm (which I got a perfect on) and exam were straightforward. The only thing I didn't really like is how she only gave a five minute break and how she tries to shove as much notes as she could for the duration of the class.
Burgess is a really great prof. Her notes are great and she takes her time to explain each topic in detail with multiple examples. I found the course overall quite easy. The only problem is that your always writing notes in the class and its a little time consuming. Overall she is a great prof.
She is okay. Her lectures are very boring. She just copies her notes on the board. She does not solve a lot of examples. You can ace her final test by reviewing the assignments.
I already reviewed her for MTH210. This is for MTH816. She has confusing lecture notes, but I found her very helpful in office hours. Midterm was a little hard, but the final was incredibly easy.
Amazing prof. Helps students with to achieve better. Notes are well prepared and if you study you will do well.
Didn't really find going to this class necessary. You can learn everything from the textbook. When I did go to class she had trouble keeping students quiet. Overall she wasn't bad.
Notes are pretty much copied straight out of the textbook but they are summarized and really easy to read. Midterms and exams are easy if you read the notes and do the assignments. Dont bother going to class unless you wanna catch up on sleep
