Get ready to pay for his textbook so you can do the 4-hour assignments that give you 1.5% towards your grade. Do 109 of the 110 concepts without completing that last one and you won't even get a part mark - that's the type of prof that he is (just following what his outline says which is fair). Nice guy just didn't know how to operate a Zoom call.

I had the pleasure of having Tom for both ECN 101 and ECN 201, Got a 98 and 99 in both. Dude is chill af and just reads off the slides while giving some extra info. I went to all the lectures but you really don't need to. Just do all the online homework assignments (they're free marks), show up to the tutorials, and enjoy the multiple choice exams.

Easy marker, there was weekly homework through the textbook. I slacked off in class, and still passed with A+ with minimal studying. Prof is fun to listen to, and he's a straight shooter pretty much.

Great prof who is clearly passionate about what he teaches! Online assignments take a lot of time but are guaranteed to be 100% if you complete them. Some quizzes differed a bit from the content and assignments, but overall fair grading and assessments. He uses fun examples in class and is open to answering any and all of your questions!

Barbeiro makes 8am lectures worth it! He cares deeply for his students and helps some you with their marks as much as he can. his lectures help you understand the content but also read the textbook too! would definitely take his course again!!

He knows what he's talking about and will prepare you for the midterm and final. would take again!

Tries to make the class interesting. Need to read the book to do good in quiz/exams. Will help when asked. Homework is optional and was taken up in the last hour of the class for those who did it.

He is an alright prof. He can be very monotone and boring but he does his best to explain the subject the best he can. The coursesubject itself is what makes this class the worst thing ever. It is a hard course and it can be hard to focus in class when someone monotone is explaining a challenging course. Get ready to pay attention
