Course content is difficult to digest if you do not have a solid foundation of physics and calculus (most people) and there is a lot of theory. But it is mostly smoke and mirrors, the actual tests and assignments are not that difficult and it is very possible to get a high grade if you put in the work.
Honestly speaking, this prof makes the course much more complicated then it needs to be with classes full of derivations and equations rather then speaking conceptually about the topics in the lectures. Derivations are good but shouldn't be the 100% focus for EVERY class. No posted notes at all, so attendance should be considered mandatory.
What a terrible professor for both field theory and electromagnetics. His course is super dry and he is ever worse. His tests are always the same or very similar study off of his old tests always do everything his way do not ever touch the textbook it will only hurt your grades. Don''t miss classes and study a lot.
Excellent prof. very knowledgeable and helpful. His exams are very hard. need full understanding to pass his exams.
He is very nice and helpful if you got to his office hours. But the course material is very hard and math intensive so people get bored. His weakness is that his exams are similar to his past exams. But he's a genius no doubt.
