Not the best at teaching, he gets the basics across and is nice. Go to class do bonus quizzes and ask him to learn. The exam is long but as long as you have practiced it's all simple math. You need to buy the 20ish dollar course back but he does provide a free text book pdf( never used). It's ez high grade if your in a major with basic calc.
Rashid Khan is a very nice, emphatic and knowledgeable professor. He provides the class with sample tests which are very similar to the midterms and exams. There are a lot of bonus quizzes, which gives a chance to increase your grade. Rashid Khan really cares for his students!
Not the best prof in terms of teaching and clarity, but if you do his practice tests that he provides they are the exact same as the ones he tests you on. Final exam was hard, but my final mark didn't really seem to change after that.
He hardly teached. You learn off previous years tests and are given many chances to get good grades. His tests are exactly like the year before so if you put the time in you will see an A. He takes best 2 test marks out of 3. Final exam is super tough but if you do better one of your test marks he replaces that mark with your final exam mark.
I found some of his explanations confusing however I supplemented with videos I found on YouTube and managed to do very well in the course. He often gave extra marks for attendance. Master the practice questions and you will do well.
One of the nicest profs - really a genuine person. However, his teaching style is the worst I've come across. Asks a question and answers it without explaining how he got it. His explanations aren't clear whatsoever. I taught myself the course. He does want you to succeed, but it's not easy. Key to passing is doing the past testsquizzes.
Find another prof! I don't like econ to begin with so my interest level is very low. Makes you come in EVERY single class by quizzes, bonus quizzes, and tests, feels like high school! You don't need to purchase the textbook, which is not really a complaint, more of a structure issue. Thick accent - I don't understand most of the time.
Amazing Professor. Uses questions past quizzes and tests. No need to buy textbook. Overall the material in this class is boring but he makes up for it. During your last class, he takes the class for snacks and drinks. A genuine humble professor.
SO caring and helpful! Definitely will not regret taking class with him! Best is to read courseware before class, then ask questions if need clarifying. Very kind, very approachable. I emphasize: try to understand BEFORE class. this is easiest as lectures sometimes vague, but many example problems and answers are given in courseware, so use them!
Engineering econ is a very easy course with him. You do not need to buy the actual textbook for the class, you only need his course wear, which is very cheap. He is a very caring man He is a boring lecturer however. The tests are ridiculously easy though, he copies questions from past midterms.
