Unfortunately, not very impressed - the assignment that was worth 25% of our mark was VERY vague. The discrepancy between her marking and the TA`s marking was 20-30% (with the TA being the more difficult marker). On the plus side, we could re-submit, but it`s not my job as a student to go through my paper and figure out where your TA went wrong!
Best nutrition professor at Ryerson. Made a tough course easy to learn and I ended up with an A! Attend all her lectures though. Best best best! I wish she taught every single course. Also I felt that this nutrition course was the fairest in terms of mark breakdown and easiness. Dana Whitham you are the best!
Dana is a brilliant prof who knows her material inside and out and she makes sure everything is up-to-date. The course isn't easy, but Dana is the best prof to teach it! Make sure you attend every lecture and are able to bridge many concepts together, this is the essence of the final exam. She is also very approachable if you have any questions.
I love Dana! An absolute sweetheart. She is very clear and very fair. I wish more professors would be like her.
Wonderful porf!... very nice, helpful and friendly. She really wants everyone to do well and gives great reviews before exams and and detailed feedback after assignments and tests. She also gives a lot of hints about what will be important to study for exams, so classes shouldn't be missed.
She's a really nice professor and is very helpful during office hours. The course itself is super tough tho. Everything you need to do well in this course are in the slides...and unfortunately requires a lot of memorization.
