The structure of this course really needs to change, if she choose to stay unchanged, she will get complaint each year for sure
The course itself hard. And doing it in person exams after prev years did online since COVID, has been big change and tuff on us.The prof could've prepared us for it better but she compensated it by curving. Thanks to those who complained. Can't really blame the prof either since course is hard. Just practice a lot on the questions and study early.
She was angry at our year because students in the previous year has exams online and they "cheated" according to her. She made our exam the same as last years with no open book. Many questions not covered in textbook or lecture. Department had to get involved.
Honestly, she was very fair. Increasing Midterm 2 by 20% showed she cared about students' success. She didn't have to do that. The final exam was also fair and gave a good chance to recover. The midterms just needed more effort and preparation. Overall, she graded fairly and tried to support everyone.
The worst proof in all of tmu the first two midterms were so bad she was forced to curve by 20 because of the amount of complaints. The first midterm some people got the sample exam and got 90 and 100 while others got a diffrent exam and got 50 and 60. The final was easy but as a whole everything was exam based. The worst class and proof at TMU.
The midterms were super hard and didn't match what she taught, and the practice ones didn't help much. The final was almost the same as the practice, which helped a lot. The questions are still kinda tricky at first since she doesn't cover them, but it's not too hard to pass since she curved the midterms and the final was predictable.
The two midterms were so difficult that she had to curve one of them by 20% after the entire class complained to the chair. Her lectures are just reading off the slides made by the textbook author. The final was very similar to the practice final she gave out so if you did bad the first two midterms don't drop out.
Unfair midterms. Some version have more true/false questions while the other version has more long answers. Better spend time praying than study to get easier version.
