Kathleen Fortune

Katheen was absolutely one of my best professors ever in university. She was so nice and caring! She made the topic interesting and she told you exactly what you need to study for the exams! she honestly was THE BEST

Dr. Fortune is absolutely amazing. The psychology of women class was extremely interesting and very enjoyable to study for. There is quite a bit of information to know, so study and you will do well! Do not believe any of the negative reviews others have written, they are disrespectful because they are demanding for a perfect GPA.

She's an amazing prof! Funny and caring! Her lectures are sorta long but she explains everything in a lot of detail. It was definitely one of my hardest classes. She does a fill in the blank lecture so you have to come to class to get the notes. She responds to emails in a timely manner and overall its a good class.

Attendance is mandatory! BEST professor I've ever had. One thing I wish I knew is that the tests are on the entire chapter in the textbook, not just what is taught in class. To do well you need to know her slides AND everything in the textbook that wasn't mentioned. Wants you to do well, I felt extremely prepared for each test and assignment.

She is a great teacher and very passionate about her work. Once you study the slides she posts, you will pass.

Can't believe I was only introduced to Dr. Fortune in my last year of undergrad. She is truly a gem. Gives you all the short answer ahead of time so you have time to prepare. MC are straight from lecture. I would recommend reading the textbook to reinforce knowledge but as far as I know nothing is pulled straight from the text itself.

I have taken 5 courses with her, she is the BEST prof I've ever had. Lectures are very engaging, exams are straightforward, lecture slides are easy to follow. She is very approachable and is always willing to help. Assignment instructions are very clear and always has the best interest of the student in mind.

Great prof, take the subject as a liberal now change to psychology as my major

She is a caring prof that really wants people to do well. Her testing is straight forward (no random questions from small bits of the textbook) and she marks assignments with a clear grading criteria! She's open to answering questions and even helps give study tips. Would take another class with her!!

She is THE BEST prof I had in ryerson so far!! Yes you do have to show up in class to get the full slide but i found this approach really help lighten up the complexity of taking notes. And her lectures are very interesting! I would definitely take a course with her if i have chance. Also, her instructions for the assignment are very clear.
