Very poor guidelines and instructions
She can be very confusing with instructions
You aren't working hard enough in her class if you have issues with her. This prof works harder for me and my peers online than some others did for me during undergrad in person. Don't rate her bad for changing plans. That happens. We are in covid 19! You need work in her class.. She is passionate and you will learn a lot from her. Excellent!
This was my first and last class I will take with this professor. The course outline was taken lightly and things often changed throughout the semester. The assignments had very broad, unspecified and often have contradictive, hard to follow guidelines. You must write a paper without using direct quotes but you must be "specific" and not "broad.
Christie is an amazing prof who does a fantastic job at keeping students updated with assignments and on-going course content. However, if you plan on taking an online course be prepared to take weekly quizzes on course content. I find Christie's method of distance education to be very effective.
Christie Fraser is fantastic ! I took her for assessment and the next year right when I found out she was teaching cognitive development. Clear, to the point, helpful and sets timelines for when you should complete parts of an assignment to ensure you are not behind. Great right? It a shame I didn' have the great opportunity to have her in lecture
I loved having Christie as an instructor! She is very approachable and always so willing to help students. Her enthusiasm can even be seen in an online course. She has all grades up before the final exam so you have an idea of where you stand academically! With her ongoing support throughout the course, if you do the work, anyone can do well!
I enjoyed this course and having Christie as an instructor and would take another of her courses. She was approachable, responded quickly to questions, and seemed to really try to help students succeed. A major a assignment was quite tedious. She answered all questions but I think the instructions and expectations could have been more clear.
It is a distance education, online course. For some reason few weeks after class start, she told us she couldn't get the copyright for some material and need us to go to library under reserve section. Very unprepared! Discussion forum for participation 10% but have to answer questions like assignment! One word: Ridiculous!
