Christine Houston

Good and teaching. Very nice woman. Had her for nursing. Her Exams are very tough with lots of SATA and no partial marks. Lots and lots of reading. Lectures and content is extremely heavy. On her exams she expect u to know specific findings from journal article readings which is inconvenient.

So helpful and caring! bird course, but don't let the work pile up. group work is annoying but she's super willing to help facilitate communication.

lovely human being but does not have time management skills. consistently teaches 30-50 minutes overtime every class..prepares 100+ slide ppts and talks nonstop for 3+ hours. NO RESPECT FOR STUDENT'S TIME. either the course needs to be reworked or she needs to learn how to teach within the allotted class time.

Christine is one of the best professors I've ever had. Her course was complex at first, but she supported us through it. I've never encountered a prof who was so willing to explain concepts. It might be tough content, but Christine made it easy and facilitated amazing discussions. Very approachable, knowledgable, and understanding. Love her:)

Houston is an adequate professor with a reasonable knowledge of bioethics. However, her shortcomings, which include poor organization, convoluted assignment instructions, unnecessarily cumbersome group projects and for me personally, generally odd vibes, far outweigh any merits. A perennial 'A student', I didn't like her course or her style.

Great professors overall. I really enjoyed her for research (NSE 212) as she explained concepts thoroughly and ensured we all understood. Definitely recommend her.

Dr Houston is a lovely professor who explains topics extremely well and does a great job at getting participation, which is graded for this course. Very patient, and makes the course fun. Tough class though- you have to read. A lot. Prepare yourself well for it.

She is super sweet! The course was very difficult but she tried to make the content as easy as possible for us to understand. She provides us with tons of resources and amazing feedback. I love her, one of the kindest souls I have met in uni

She is so caring and genuinely wants her students to do well. Course was super difficult content wise but christine was very generous and always gave detailed clarifications/feedback. I thought I would fail the course bbut she was so kind to all of us, I love her :')

Christine is great as a person. Caring and engaging, I liked her overall. However, she is a bit of a tough grader. I took this course as an elective and I was expecting it to be slightly easier. If this course with her is optional for you, I wouldn't recommend. Definitely not for boosting your GPA.
