Caitlin McLaughlin

Caitlin is a nice person. However, excepts a lot from her students. Gives a lot of evaluations and the test was difficult.

She is a great lecturer, goes through slides very clearly. Also tries to be entertaining and always has a smile on her face. However, she makes the simplest course seem extremely difficult with her harsh grading scheme of giving .25/.5 of a mark. Super particular in what she wants so be expected to know her expectations well or you will not do well

Although she is friendly ( almost too friendly) she rambles on forever and marks extremely hard and for whatever reason prides herself on the fact that "students say she's a hard marker". She has very unrealistic expectations for essays and exams, nearly impossible to get full marks on her assignments and exams.

McLaughlin has a great attitude and a bright future in academia. There is a lot of ground to cover in MKT100, so going to class is the best way to do well in the course. Concentrate on METRICS first, then cover all the other ground. She is very approachable.

She is very good in explaining her stuff, but by three hours everyone looses their attention. She's extremely unfair when marking and her exams are completely new. She gave us wrong hints during our review about the exam then took marks off. Don't Take her even though she's leaving.

She's really interested in what she's teaching and makes things meaningful for the rest of the class. A fair marker. If you dislike rambling then don't take her but I found the course interesting and her teaching helpful. My only critique would be that she isn't assertive enough when it comes to a disruptive lecture room.

Pretty easy, she makes the three hour lecture flies by (if you're willing to put up with her rambling). Just pay attention to what she has to say in class and you will be find for the exam. I barely studied and got an A.

Its not that she's terrible but the class should not be 3 hours...and its stupid that we a have a group project in this course. She takes this class too seriously but its better than Human resources at least.

Just 3 hours with her and I already can't stand her. She is filled with bs, she just talks and rambles on about things that how necessarily have to do with the course. She talks to much and does not notice that students are not listening. She doesn't notice that hands are up and will talk for 3 hours withut pausing. Most boring prof and is not easy
