She was okay. A lot of my peers had other negative experiences but I never had any with her. I will say her lectures are boring and could be a little more exciting. She doesn't know how to pull students in and make us want to attend class. For me she was an easy marker but I guess that depends on the type of student you are.
Switch out of her class as soon as you can! At first she may come off as nice, only for it to wear off after a couple weeks. She never answers emails, very vague instructions, no rubric, unfair grading, reads off slides, gives grades at the end of semester, very rude emails. Attendance is mandatory but not for grades...? Not professional at all...
Avoid this prof if you can! It's the end of the semester and I don't even know if i'm passing the class because she doesn't grade anything.
She's a horrible prof. By the end of the semester we didn't get a single grade back. She never answers emails, is very passive aggressive through email and in person. Hate her, never taking her class again.
Avoid this professor at all costs. As another review said she can come across as a nice person at the start, and maybe she is. However from a professor standpoint she's awful. Doesn't mark anything (waits till the very last second) doesn't respond to emails. Passive aggressive tone towards students. Worst professor I've ever had
Hangama Ahmadzai comes across as a lovely person, but as a professor in CYC, she struggles to communicate well with students, contradicts her own words, doesn't know the assignment descriptions, and has a passive-aggressive attitude toward many questions asked during her lectures. Also takes forever to give back work, OMG
she don't be responding to emails, rubrics very unclear, strict
Never take this professors you ever see this in your subject
My favourite part of the course is that it's made up of many things, making it less stressful. There were weekly assignments which were pretty straightforward. You could complete them in groups, pairs, or alone, which was nice. most people did pretty well, her marking was fair for the Fall 2022 section.
Was shown little respect by this prof. Would roll her eyes when students ask clarifying questions, and would not respond to emails. Took her all semester to mark my assignments, and contradicted her own assignment guidelines when grading. Would never take a class taught by her again.
