I can't say enough good things about Dr. Voronka. She is so caring and kind. She always has her students best interest at mind. She has high expectations of her students, especially when it comes to papers and coming to class prepared, but she seriously has made me a better student overall. She is also SO passionate about Disability Studies.
Jijian is a wonderful professor of Disability Studies in addition to being a caring and interesting person. Her lectures and courses are well thought-out and she is very passionate about what she is teaching. I read more in her classes than almost any other course, but I also walked away knowing more about disability than I ever thought I would.
Jijian was an amazing prof - DST 500 blew my mind, I would recommend this course, with this professor, to anyone and everyone. She is caring, engaging and easy to understand. I loved this course!
take dst 500 with her, she is the easiest and kindest to approach. very understanding
Love this class, it really opens your eyes and makes you look at things from a different perspective. The class is taught by Jijian and two others but everything is marked by Jijian. There is one midterm, one final participation and an essay (or a creative assignment). Do the readings as it's crucial for participation. TAKE THIS CLASS, ITS WORTH IT
this course is life changing in my opinion, professor voronka is fantastic and fair! what a pleasure to have taken this class.
Awesome!!! You will enjoy this course especially if you like sociology :)
