Great teacher and a really nice guy. He likes to use Monty Python jokes as an example alot.

Great Prof. His class is amazing! He was able to make a fairly boring topic Logic interesting. He is a fair marker, and he makes every effort to make sure you do well in his course. He accepts assignments late without penalty. He responds to emails, and talks to you after class if you need. Great man and great Prof.

Great Prof.His assignments can be very limiting though. You cannot choose to do your own topic. He has strict criteria which you must adhere too. Still his class is amazing! I have taken PHL, but typical dry UofT content. Belk is excellent & witty. He tackled main points, but let us work out the meaning before explaining. I think this helped cement a lot of the existential concepts for exams. Do the readings & classes were never long. Our original prof bailed (existentialism too depressing for him maybe). A win for us.

Dr. Belk is very clear and concise. He is very laid back and down to earth. He is very helpful and approachable. His evaluations are easy if you attend class and read the textbook/supplementary readings. I would definitely recommend him for Critical Thinking I and suggest you enroll at once! Also his British accent is the icing on the cake. Cheers
