Seyda was extremely helpful, at first I doubted that I was going to do well because of the subject yet she made it very clear, explained patiently, always let us ask questions before, during and after class. I ended up with an A, without buying the textbook proving how good she was and her slides! I suggest you go to class though, makes a differen
Very energetic and committed teacher. Her lecture notes and commentary are so clear that I didn't even need the textbook and got an A in the course. Some of her test questions were challenging but fair, and she really goes out of her way to help students and puts her 100%.
She cares her students and is extremely clear. I enjoyed her teaching.
She's a nice person but has a confusing accent and also explains things that only make things more complicated! If you can get another prof it'd be better, but she's not the worst prof.
She's one of my favorite profs at Ryerson. I took two courses with her, ECN104 and 204, honestly if she was teaching another course I would love to take it. Her power points are detailed (no need for textbooks)and she's always ready to help her students succeed. She's probably the only prof that responds to her email instantly.
She uses simple words and her explanations are OK. The content of the course is boring but she tries to make it interesting. I liked her as a professor but I heard that (I may be wrong...) her husband teaches upper level and he is one of the best. I recommend her:)
This professor is very good she helps you a lot if you have any doubts. She responds to emails right away. She is one of my favorite profs so far
She is really helpful. Her lecture is based on the book but she goes over some examples in the class. I suggest her to anybody.
I am really confused with previous comments. Are we talking about Seyda who taught CECN 104 last semester? She was exteremely helpful and willing you to understand every detail. Most of the students are not coming to class and expecting to get a A. Sorry but there is no free lunch (Principle 4)
The comments below are probably from people who did no work. All you have to do is read the book and you’ll do amazing. She replies to emails quickly and marks everything within a day or 2 which is nice! Great prof I'd take a class with her again for sure.
