Richard Chisik

I loved this professor in my first year. He had a great sense of humour and he knew how to teach the course in a way where students can understand the content. I would take his class again if it was an option!

Very tuff lots of aura

Average Econ Prof and explains the content well, boosted marks for everybody.

A nice guy, and he made the lectures feel less boring and tried to relate to us as best as he could. Only really marked on three things: homework/mylab, midterm exam, and final exam.

hard class, lectures were so boring. you will also have to buy mylabs unfortunately. SO MUCH HOMEWORK (60 questions each week). exams were not easy, but you get a cheat sheet and he took the time to go over my midterm with me, which i appreciated. he also curved both exams and gave bonus points. he's a nice guy, but the course sucks.

He's a wonderful and caring professor! You have to put in the work though!

Although the lectures are pretty heavy, the professor tries his best to make them engaging. Homework assignments are long, but weighted more too.

Richard is a good person, helpful & kind. He is knowledgeable about economics & very passionate about it. Unfortunately, he cannot teach the concepts in a less complicated way & makes them confusing. I struggled with the course and later did a lot of self-study. His homeworks are very lengthy & time consuming. Exam is similar to his prac questions.

I did really well in this course, but Chisik really lacks the ability to teach. He is really passionate about economics, but he can't explain concepts well and goes on tangents about random subject matters. I got a 4.33 from my own merits and I did not attend class, so if you just practice the questions at the end of slides, you'll do great. GL!

Read. The. Textbook. Although the lecture is based on the textbook, attending class helps to clear up any confusion especially on Nash Equilibriums. He will explain information and blatantly hint whats on the exams. Participation homework was 36% of our grade so definitely get it done.
