He organizes what he wants from you in a way that left me, personally, very impressed. Try your best to meet his deadlines. Always have something to show (printed, sooooo many prints). He genuinely cares for you and your work, and if he finds that the vaguer comments aren't getting you to where you need to be, he'll tell you straight up. Love him.
I don't understand why he gets such a high grading here. He is biased sometimes , he is not a good teacher. He is not accessible after class and was late to class several times. He ditched us in site visits, but he scold us if we are late. Doesn't give straightforward feedback or advice student with a better design. Makes fun of student's mistakes.
Genuinely the best professor I had. I think he's great for first year first semester. Gives very good feedback though it can be a bit confusing at times he's very supportive.
I loved being in Stanislav's section for ASC 201. He articulated his ideas in a way that gives life to a project, which always made me excited to develop my concepts. Stanislav gives incredible advice and is very underrated as a studio professor. 10/10!
He is a forward thinker and doesn't limit you to one design pathway. He often challenges your way of thinking which is very helpful when you are stuck. He is very encouraging and pushes you for the best results. The more time and effort and you give him the more you will get out of him, and he has lots to give!
If I could pay to have Stanislav as my studio prof again, I would. He is fantastic and everyone in the ArchSci program deserves to have him at least once.
I love Stanislav. I had him for first year first semester studio and it was the best studio ever. I still remember his advice and I am in third year. I love this man with all my heart. Amen. I want him back so bad. If you have him, I am jealous of you and happy for you
He could be very harsh but his feedbacks are intelligent, thorough, and very specific. He won't give you the exact answer but will leave you a little hint at the end which would guide you through the better resolution which you'll end up figuring out on your own. He knows how to teach. You're going to learn a lot from him, he's absolutely amazing.
He is an amazing professor with an amazing mind. Really pushes your creativity. He may come off as harsh sometimes, but he truly puts in the work for you and expects you to put the work back in. One of my favorite professors.
