Great professor. Marked very fair. The course itself may be content heavy though.
There is way too much information to grasp in a condensed course. A lot of readings and assignments. Her midterm and final exams are essay style which is just too much. It is all so overwhelming. I think she's made her job harder for herself because she's unable to grade assignments on time so you have no idea how you're doing in the course.
Unnecessarily tough and nitpicky grader; even if you think you did very well she will find something small to pick apart with an essay in her feedback. Wayyy too many readings for a condensed spring course.
Enjoyed taking this course! The sociology of everyday life had really fun and interesting group assignments and final paper. There is a midterm and a final exam, however if you read the text book you will score well in the exams.
Lectures were detailed and very interesting. The course itself is very content heavy, so be ready for that and also a lot of readings.
She is very caring and understands your situation. She grades fairly, so if you understand the material and put in genuine effort, you will get a very good grade. Her exams are very fair and easy.
this prof loves the power she holds over her students and gets her knickers off by being a hard marker 10000% and if you try to ask where you went wrong she gets snippy and literally won't tell you where you went wrong.
Her lectures are confusing and hard to follow. There is also a ridiculous amount of readings that are expected to be done each week. Although the course has interesting content, the professor makes it hard to enjoy
Enjoyed the content but Professor Nazim marks ridiculously hard, even when you do all the studying it is very hard, don't be disappointed if you work hard and get a bad mark
