Assignment criteria are unclear and feedback is often confusing. Takes a long time to get assignments back and the feedback often seems to be the same for each group. Changes assignment criteria without a new rubric and without clarification. Very confusing and stressful class. University and program director defend her completely.
Only complaint is she has no lectures or course content whatsoever, only readings. So if you need clarification on a topic you're out of luck. Weekly discussions have deadlines. Marks pretty decent on assignments. Tests were hard af because beverly wrote them.
Horrific, no feedback at all for online courses. She is late to respond and doesn't clarify assignments. I feel like I am taking the class all by myself, just the textbook .
Leslie is a funny prof who likes to build a good foundation relationship with her students. Group work is super important in this class. As for the course, be prepared to guide yourself in the learning and don't be afraid to ask questions. This course is more self and group learning rather than the typical lecture style.
Not a fan of this professor. Had her three times and I didnt gain anything but stress from her classes. Her assignments are very unclear and leave you confused so I recommend you work ahead of time and ask her many questions. Her classes are participation heavy and are structured so that students teach students not her, which is a shame.
Absolutely horrible. Not a helpful prof in her teaching style. Frequently posted materials late, and would take weeks to respond to important questions. I would be happy to NEVER have her again. I take pride in my academics, and I would prefer to be engaged by a professor that takes pride in her work as a prof.
She is such an awesome teacher. Gives amazing feedback when your assignment is graded and informs you on where you went wrong. If you have any questions, she replies back very quickly. Her test was easy and I didn't even read for this course. And she updates mark every week for participation. Trust me, you should because its fun and easy marks.
Leslie was one of the greatest professors I've ever had. She engages students by helping them self learn and teach modules to classes. Leslie is a fair marker and is always available to students when needed. Leslie is funny, personable and is passionate about what she teaches. Leslie keeps classes fun and helps you learn with creative engagement.
Leslie was so extremely frustrating to work with online. Her instructions were unclear and when asked for clarity she would give different instructions to each person she talked to. Her expectations were ridiculous (15 pages for a 10 part paper?!) and lectures notes aren't clear either. Avoid this class online at all costs!!!!
Fun Prof. Keep class engaged in a larger conversation. Very open to questions and feedback on how the course is organized.
