Really nice lady, the course content is super simple and she only tests on what she taught in class. Her accent is pretty thick, so beware if youre in a lower level French class.

She was very caring of her students and wanted them all to succeed. The tests were easy if you studied the materials on the slides and the textbooks. Sit close to the front of the class, though, because she can talk quietly at times.

Since this is a higher level french class, there's an understanding that you shouldn't need any english affirmation, which was a struggle at times because I felt lost during many moments of the class.

Dr. Witek is very kind and knowledgeable. I recommend going to lectures as participation counts for a large part of the grade breakdown. Tests and assignments are easy to do well on if you study. She posts slides and provides in-class practice.

Assessments are based on her lectures and its a light course. Just remember to participate a couple of times because you get some marks for participate

Love this prof. Explains the grammar so well and easy evaluations! she's a lenient marker in a good way and slides = will be on the test. I now understand the french language a lot better and how to structure my sentences thanks to her! Highly recommend her

Very nice prof, explains everything very well, and gives a lot of hints about what to expect on tests. Make sure to know the exceptions for conjugating, as these appear on tests most often. The final exam was slightly more difficult than expected.

Wonderful experience. All of the grading criteria are provided way beforehand, tests are strictly from the slides, approachable outside of class, in addition to a smooth and comprehensible accent. Attend lectures as many in-class examples aren't posted and participation is graded. Highly recommend!

Dr. Witek was a great prof! I feel confident in the French I learned this semester and am looking to take higher French courses because of how content I was in FRE101. Dr. Witek told us what to expect on every test, quiz and the exams, which helped relieve my stress. I hope to have her again if I continue French!

She is a really caring prof; however, the course itself will get heavier after the second quiz. As long as you study and attend all the lectures, you'll be good. She tends to give the questions that will appear on the quiz and dictation. Overall, she's nice!
