In the first half of the semester she is very intimating, unapproachable, hard marker, out spoken, knit picks the small things, and very strict regarding accountability and policies. But, as the second semester begins, she becomes lenient and more approachable.

Extremely unclear. Provides information to some students, and expects the whole class to know that information. Expectations not consistent with grading schemes or course outlines. Generally unapproachable; likes to call students out in front of the class. Extremely subjective and difficult marker. Works as an editor, so APA must be perfect.
