Dr. Scott is nice in person and great to chat with one-on-one. A bit tough with grading and she does not always practice what she teaches in her lectures. She has a laissez faire leadership style which I found frustrating.
So energetic and sweet even at 8am. Her content and expectations are straight forward. As long as you come to class and take notes, you'll be fine. Didn't have a midterm or final, just a test with 2 crib sheets. 2 presentations which weren't bad at all. Doesn't read off of slides, and makes content easy to understand.
The class is relatively easy, it's just annoying that you have to be on campus for 2 weekends. Krystin does a great job teaching the course, though and is great at explaining concepts in a detailed yet understandable manner. The key is to understand the personality theory concepts and apply them to your life as feedback
SO SWEET AND CARING! THE WHOLE CLASS LOVES HER :)
If anything were to happen to my family, i would want Kristyn scott to adopt me as her child cause of how caring and thoughtful she is. She genuinely cares about her students and her lectures are so engaging :) Im really going to miss her ;(
If you're trying to figure out if you should take her course, do it. She's so easygoing in her marking scheme. There's very little assignments and she seems extremely considerate. Just be prepared for a lot of group work cause if you slack, chances are you're gonna do bad on the group project which is a big part of your grade.
Great prof definitely take her if you can! Super fun, lectures are insightful and interactive. Assignments have clear criteria and is not a tough marker if you just pay attention to her lectures. Easy to get good grades and shes really sweet overall.
Professor Kristyn is one of the only good HR profs Ryerson has. Her instructions for assignments were really clear and was able to clarify any questions the students had during class and through email. However you will need to buy the textbook for more in depth info! It is very easy to do well in her class.
If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She is genuinely the best professor I have ever had. I cried during my last lecture with her because I loved her so much. She is kind and caring and very clear on her assignment expectations. Her lectures were interesting and she was so patient with her students. Loved her. 115928374/10 would recommend.
