Provides little to no feedback on lab assignments. Forget emailing for help - you'll just be told to read the assignment sheet again. Also, she closed her email 3 full days before our final assignment was due because "answering emails is stressful". Has high expectations and provides little support/guidance to achieve them.
Expects everything to be precise. If you make a small mistake then she will deduct marks. Overall her content is easy but she is just very greedy with grades. It will either be a hit or a miss with her grading schematics and she seems very bias.
Janet was a pretty good lab instructor. Mostly had problems with the group assignment as when asking her questions she would not give guidance and instructions were not always clear. Start it early as it is a lot more work than it seems. For the lab portion of midterm and exam. calculations are hard and specific measurements need to be memorized.
She is a very great and helpful lab instructor! Tries her best to explain the lab content to you. Assignment in the course is long and tedious and I found her too be quite fair with the grading. I recommend her!
Janet is a very nice and upbeat lab instructor. She encourages students to figure out their own issues, but is always available if you need any help. The assignment was difficult, and her and Donna gave very few instructions, but the point was for students to make it their own, not be spoon fed what to do.
This lab instructor is horrible. She refuses to answer any of your questions. There was an assignment in which the instructions were kind of vague so I emailed her to make sure if I was on the right track and she just told to "read it again". It was just as confusing as before so I got a C. horrible
