Christine Leu

Christine is a very helpful prof. Shes very to the point when critiquing and directly tells you how to solve an issue. Shes a great prof to have early on in architecture school because she is very helpful with the fundamental principles. She does favour certain students but if she sees you putting in the work you will be fine in her section :)

Had a really good semester in her section. Despite the heavy workload, she tries to help you if you show that you are actually trying in her class, she definitely appreciates effort. Shes really clear when giving feedback unlike many studio profs I've had in the past, and does not try to design the project for you but rather guide you.

Unfortunately I don't think she is good at teaching interior des program. Not sure she enjoys teaching sometimes. Doesn't always convey the material clearly or doesn't clearly answer or not able to. Prerecorded vids. Didn't feel I had good feedback.

Really glad to have her the first time I jumped into arch school, she asks the right questions and makes you think. She's pretty flexible if you miss a few classes, but you have to do your work to prove it to her that you're doing studio work.

She's a great prof that gives good feedback if you ask the right questions, and is considerate to your other course loads, wifi problems and timezones (bc of online learning). But if you don't do work, she will call you out for it.

If you make good weekly progress then you are likely to get a good mark. She is very strong at guiding your design process and providing inspiration when you feel stuck. Average difficulty for marking so don't overshoot your expectations.

Really chill prof, and will push you when needed. Lowkey chaotic but it's great.

Shes knowledgeable, and shes inspirational. Take the initiative to ask her questions, you will learn a lot.

Shes funny approachable good at explaining things

Honestly the best prof. She keeps the lectures interesting and is very informative. She knows what she's teaching and explains it really well. Hard course, but it's necessary!
