His lectures are next to death; he gives no extra effort into aiding his students. I even booked an appointment with him to review a midterm - waited for him for 45 mins and the meeting lasted less than 5 because he didn't really care. Tests are openbook so that's a breeze.
Knowledgeable and provides relevant, often humorous, examples of the material. He's very clear and available to help if you ask. Taking up the cases in class shows you how to approach test questions, and he gives a pretty thorough explanation once a couple people attempt them. Great prof!
Ok, not only do you have to read the book but you also need to know how to apply the concepts. His teaching style is death by PowerPoint with confusing examples. Taking up solutions in class is like pulling teeth unless there is a lot if class participation. Just make sure you know your stuff for the tests and the exam.
The course was entirely multiple choice and dependent on the textbook. He himself was very easy to listen to and gets through the information efficiently. Class participation indicates how thorough he is with information. Your grade is entirely dependent on the text book as it is almost entirely multiple choice (marked fairly easy on short answer)
He isn't that bad. He really relies on class participation and homework completion in order to do well. If no one participates, he won't answer questions.
