Lisa is a great prof who genuinely cares about her students. Shes been extra great teaching online during the pandemic and cares about her students well-being above everything else. Shes easy to reach outside of class. She plays a Motherly figure in the classroom and is so easy to talk to and ask for help.
She is a very well-respected woman. She is very caring and inspirational. She truly cares for the well-being of her students and wants them to succeed. She establishes a friend-like relationship with students, showing you she's always there for you. She's a great person and I would recommend any class with her. Quite lovely.
Lisa is an amazing professor with such integrity. She'll explain to you clearly when you've made a mistake and try her best to help you because she is more than understanding and wants students to succeed. Lisa is very knowledgeable and her lectures are relevant and up to date. In a word, Great Teacher! I definitely would take more of her classes.
Lisa is a really great prof! She's understanding towards student's concerns and is constantly looking out for our wellbeing. She makes sure we're not stressed and if you notice a mistake in her slides, she'll give you a Kinder egg! If you're stressed, talk to her, had her for the morning lecture for 103/105.
Lisa is an amazing prof. She is fair but will also tell you how it is. She gives great feedback to help you correct your mistakes. Don't worry if you're not getting 80's or 90's on story days. I think my highest mark was 81%.
Lisa Taylor is nothing if not genuine. She believes in her program, and she truly wants each and every one of her students to succeed. What that often means is that she'll treat you like a two-year-old learning to walk for the first time. Better than being vague I guess. But just barely. Skip her lectures, they are less than useless.
I'm so thankful that Lisa Taylor was part of my introduction to journalism. Not only were her lecture engaging and informative, she's basically convinced me that I'm pursuing the right major. She definitely knows what she's talking about. I didn't find her passive aggressive as some other reviewers did, just don't mess with her and you're good.
You can tell Lisa is enthusiastic about what she teaches, her lectures are always engaging. She also gives out chocolate if you find mistakes in her slides which is pretty lit. However, Lisa is VERY passive-aggressive, so don't mess with her.
She makes pretty powerpoints, she gives out kinder surprises for correcting her, AND her jokes are funny. Like, god bless Lisa.
She was my first j-school prof and I felt so lucky to get her. She does make you work for good grades but you genuinely learn so much from her. Very straight to the point and professional.
