Tony Van Krieken

He is very passionate about what he teaches. Marking rubrics are clear and he gives good feedback. Lectures are interesting, quizzes and midterm are a little hard but manageable.

CITM102 itself is a content-heavy course and annoying, but Professor Tony marks very leniently. As long as you show that you understand the concepts, he gives you the marks. He is very caring and genuinely wants his students to succeed. I forgot to submit 2 assignments, but he told me to email them to him and he graded them with no penalty.

Sweet professor, but you may have to work for good grades!

Tony is such a sweet professor! His lectures are very boring but he goes by the material quick and really cares about each individual student. He is always there to help and give you guidance with the projects and will literally tell you exactly what you should change if you need to improve. If you want an easy A in this class, take it with Tony

Online he was little help. There was things some on our project team were deducted marks for but others on our team were not. So the marking system can be on a whim. Some of his instructions were vague and when asked for clarification we would only get a one or two word answer. Most of my responses from him were one word "Ok" That's not helpful

Tony is a nice person; however, he is not a very good instructor. He’s difficult to understand and doesn't explain why you do things.He has a lot of passion for Project Management, but, he doesn’t have a good understanding of how cost function in a project. He has a difficult time controlling the class and takes a long time to response to emails.

Great Prof, really works hard to make sure students do well. Attend his lectures & labs and you'll get a good grade.

must attend lectures for pop quizzes and some of the exam questions were based on class discussions. very good and helpful prof. he is a little vague when explaining things and about the assignments but just email him to clarify and he replies VERY quick.

Great teaching style, easy to understand and preps you well. Excellent teacher and very helpful.
