Asif Salam

Asif is the best Marketing professor in Ryerson I have ever had. Due to his depth of knowledge, he makes the course material simple and easy to understand. He explains the spreadsheet so clearly, I will remember it for the rest of my life. He encourages questions from the class and active participation. Asif is the star! I strongly recommend him.

Easy prof. Mediocre lecturer but he really cares about his students - if the class does terrible, he'll bell curve any way he can. Overall, I'd recommend.

Easy class layout - weekly notes and presentations; no exams! Some cases are harder than others but he is a pretty easy / fair marker with them. Attendance is mandatory or you end of losing up to 30% of mark. Would definitely take a class with him again.

Easy for the most part. And when students don't do well, he bellcurves crazy. My mark increased by 18% after he bellcurved my midterm.

He is a very nice guy and really does want to help out any student, but he really isn't good at what he teaches. As a first year student I didn't understand him AT ALL. and I had to study everything by myself, and the exams were of course difficult and overall just a confusing and challenging course.

GREAT GUY! always willing to help and knows his material very well. He's very reasonable and genuinely want all his students to pass.

He made a hard course really easy. Easy marker boring lecturer. Thank goodness the class presentations take up half the lecture. Try to get him for this course

Nice prof, grades fairly and easy. Don't need to buy the textbook. TAKE HIM!
