She only reads the slides word by word and never explains anything. Avoid this professor at any cost! I'm not even sure how she became a professor for a Master's course yet she's the Data Science program director. Unfortunately, we couldn't avoid her because she taught the mandatory courses. Doesn't really care about students, she just reads off her slides and conclude the class. Less than 1/5th of students attended her lectures. Only educational value from this course was the fact the assessments that motivated me to teach myself the course content from resources available for free online.

The worst professor I have seen in my academic career. She even doesn't know how to teach. She has no respect to students. Furthermore, she is too reluctant to answer any questions in the class. You would learn nothing in attending her lectures. Complete waste of time and energy. Frustrating experience.

Don't know why she became the Data Science Program Director. She doesn't have a good background in mathematics and is not knowledgeable in machine learning. She likes to assign teaching positions to persons in her lab instead of others. Those persons are not updating their knowledge relevant to the courses they are teaching.

Pros: Experienced in industry. Could improve by: 1) respecting students in vocal tone, 2) avoiding words like "obviously" in response to student answers, 3) teaching *any* material on which we would be tested (she did not), 4) ensuring TAs showed up to labs on time (they did not at least twice), 5) releasing midterm grades sooner than 1 month later

Do not take ANY courses from her. Stay away.

If I could describe her in one word then it is "AWFUL". She is the worst professor I had in my entire life. She just reads the slides word by word and does not explain anything. May be she does not even understand the technical material. The TA (his firstname is - CAN) for the course was also horrible. The prof. did not post grades.

If possible, please avoid her! She was the Data Science Program Director and was the only one teaching this class. It's a complete rip off from the slides online, all she does is read her slides word for word. She has this elitist attitude and literally lifts her chain up and looks down on you when you're talking. If you're stuck with her GOODLUCK
