Great prof. Really approachable.

Very difficult to please. If you plan to finish your 4th yr. with a decent GPA, avoid her at all costs. She is not clear with what she wants and does not know how to properly define how assignments will be marked. Her lectures are repetitively boring but because of the participation grades associated for this course, you are best to bring a pillow.

good professor but hard marker

Prof. Giroux is a great prof. She made me "earned" my grades instead of giving out easy A's. You can learn a lot from her lectures. DO NOT CHOOSE YOUR GROUP RANDOMLY - not everyone in the class should be in 4th year. You will get "really low" grades if your group can't put up university-level projects.

Extremely hard.

Everyone talks about how much work you have to do in BUS 800. It's true but Prof Giroux breaks down the concepts and makes assignment expectations really clear. She's a hard marker but gives you lots of feedback to improve. Wasn't looking forward to taking this class but turned out to be really useful for me at work.
