Very fair and pleasant professor who will answer any question related to content. Will decide difficulty of final exam based on midterm class average. Lots of practice required!!! (textbooks, assignments, lecture examples r huge) Lectures delve very deep into concepts. Nail the midterm and the theory/final grade marks will take care of themselves.
The class is pretty dry but he tries his best. He will make jokes to keep you engaged, try to pay attention if u can! Do the homework problems, and read the slides before lectures. If you're planning on skipping, at least go to the lecture before midterm/final.
Great at teaching and pretty funny. I would definitely recommend
Professor Cheng was a good professor. The course content was super dry which made the three hour lectures very boring (not his fault). Stopped attending after midterm. Exams are fair if you studied and he's a lenient marker. Just read the slides and do practice problems and you will be fine. Excited to have him again in the Fall.
Fair professor with fair exams Does well with explaining concepts
Dr. Cheng is an extremely caring professor. He is not a tough grader, but beware that Process Modelling is not an easy course. His lectures are done really well and his assignments/exams can be content-heavy. I suggest reviewing the textbook problems and practicing as much as possible to do well. Labs are a no-brainer though.
He definitely deserves higher than what's shown. Absolutely amazing prof. Final was not weighed heavy like other courses and was distributed very evenly with assignments and midterm. You need to go to class, the course didn't really rely on the textbooks. As long as you go to class and practice the tutorials and assignments you will get a good mark
Professor Cheng provides fair examples although he takes up majority of the lecture time on them. His notes are clear however he appears to lack the passion to help students and interact with them. His mid term was fair but final was difficult. He provided challenging assignments before the final exam without consideration, not a fun experience.
Good Prof, difficult with delivering the course
Dr. Cheng is amazing. 'Nuff said. Though he was a bit unclear and unorganized throughout the semester, the fault doesn't fall on him but rather the department for throwing him into a course he truly had no specialty in. Overall he was awesome and his midterm was ridiculously easy.
