Professor Jym Morton is the worst. Avoid at all costs. Will give students wrong advice and overall bad energy, and is an unlikable person. Would highly recommend finding another professor and would stay away from any advice he gives!
Inconsistent grading, rude, condescending, and minimal feedback on harsh grades (even when asking for extra help). The class itself is not all that complicated, the work is time-consuming but not rocket science. Would take any other TA for BUS800 if possible. Really frustrating person to deal with.
One of the most condescending teachers I have ever had. Will never take again and will never deal with this guy again.
run AWAY. drop out. do whatever you have to do to not have jym. most condescending person and not helpful at all. take jym if you want to develop depression and want to cry yourself to sleep every night
Very rude feedback, was critical which was good and definitely necessary but his manner of delivery was rude and if it was not done how he thought it should be then it was incorrect. Despite their being multiple methods. He hardly gave full marks for anything and did not provide a clear depiction of what he wanted for marks vs what the prof wants
Stay away at all costs!
Jim is the T.A for for Bus800 and I could not say worse things. He marks extremely tough and beforehand gives little instruction, his little spreadsheet outline is like when McDonalds tries to outline their food's health benefits. Just avoid this T.A, it shouldn't matter who the prof is for BUS800 but the T.A matters.
Honestly, the worst professor I've had in 4 years. Not only was he rude and condescending. He refused to give a clear grading criteria, won't provide any legitimate feedback and does not represent Ryerson in a professional manner. Avoid this guy if you have the chance!
Doesn't know his own curriculum. Nastysarcastic with students, made me feel dumb in class for what I thought was a relevant question. I'll pass the class, but just barely. Wish I'd opted for someone else. Not because he's hard, but because he's mean and confusing. Not available for 11, either.
Instructions are unclear. Other students caught him out "wrong" and countering his own instructions. He is rude to students and speaks down to them if they ask a question he feels is "dumb." Prof Morton clearly knows his subject; he does not know how to teach it. His grading is all over the map; it feels as though his TA does the grading, not him.
