I had Prof. Heidi when she taught 525. AMAZING professor; she cares about students learning and wishes the best for them. Prof Heidi is one of the best profs from LB

Heidi is super sweet and does not follow the method of IRAC compared to other profs so your exams will be much easier/simple. However, she speaks very quietly and doesn't use a mic, so I recommend sitting in the front. The exam questions are taken exactly from the slides or the textbook, so practice those, and the exams are easy.

Review - This is actually for LAW525, and Professor Heidi Francis did a great job teaching this course for the first time. The midterms and final exam weren't challenging if you did the readings and studied her slides. However, the textbook can be heavy. She also does her best to make sure the class is prepared for the tests. Overall, great prof!

Midterm and final questions were similar to the lectures which was really good!!

prof heidi definetly comes off kinda rude, her lectures are very clear and thorough and even though she says you should read the texbook, theres barely anything in it that differs from the lectures so its kinda a waste of time. test layouts are kinda odd but pretty easy and worth a LOT. prolly wouldnt take her again but she wasnt that bad!

Could barely hear her and she made the class very boring.

Probably the best prof for Law122, she can come off as rude sometimes but she cares about all her students. Law122 is a hard course regardless so you need to put in effort but definitely take it with Heidi if you can

very understanding and caring professor she takes time to speak to everyone individually and will explain the mark you got and why you got it. Her exams are not hard if you actually and her marking scheme is not to tough. i would definitely take this professor again!

She was very kind and helpful whenever you needed her help. Everything needed was clear and she constantly gave reminders on how to earn that marks in the exams and discussion boards. Responded very fast to emails (she replied to me at 4am once) and was very flexible when I was having issues with exam schedulings.

Heidi provides great and detailed feedback for the discussion boards, but she only responds to some posts. General advice: She provides so many practice problems for both midterm and final. Do them all (for final, practice writing)!! For more practice, re-answer the discussion board cases as she also posts sample responses after that week.
