Amazing prof, although the lectures are a little heavy on vocabulary, it introduced me to a lot of new topics. His teaching style is very open and communicative. He is very accommodating with assignments and gives great feedback. One of my fav profs at Fashion in TMU
Nigel is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about what he teaches. The guided group discussions were probably my favourite part of the course. He's easy to reach outside of lectures as well. No physical textbook—all of the readings are available online.
He is great lowk type shi
Really great guy. He wants you to succeed. He is tough but if you need anything, just ask. He has boosted grades I didn't like before after talking. He does however tend to use jargon during class and doesn't always clearly explain difficult concepts. There are several long readings and class moves very quick so stay on top of everything
Took this course to go toward my minor and really enjoyed it!! Not only is the content fun and easy to follow, but Nigel is a super caring and easy going prof. He marks super generously and gives a lot of feedback!
He was okay nature wise, but is a tough grader. I just passed his class even though i did my assignments as mentioned in the rubrics. He needs someone with really good literature skills (which obviously isnt possible for every student). He isnt so good at teaching and only reads from the outline.
Available for office hours and is helpful then. Tends to give work on concepts before actually teaching the content. Skips through lessons before anyone has had a chance to copy notes, ask questions, or even understand. Has difficulty conveying what he knows to the class.
Brilliant professor. Fantastic person. Simply trumps the rest of them. Be prepared to work though, because real learning happens here.
He is the best French Prof I have eeeever had, a bit hard marker but that makes you pay attention to details and learn better. Not boring at all, really fun prof. Very nice and helpful if you have questions or concerns. He wants his students to get A. Definitely taking 301 with him.
Professor Lezama is a really good professor. He is very clear in teaching the concepts but the textbook isn't used that often. At the same time, he's an extremely hard marker. You loose half a mark for every mistake you make on tests and exams. This could seriously make you get low marks at the end of the course. But, overall, he's a very good prof
