I think the class was super boring because the activities were so juvenile. Read the textbook and attend all the breakout sessions and you should do well. Her feedback was pretty useless as she handed out everything pretty late and most of the feedback was like "good job, need more input though". -_-.

Beth was fantastic for the seminar component of MHR405. She helps apply the concepts learned in the lecture, or textbook, well in her seminars. She marks more than fairly, but it's a challenging course.

She would teach for about an hour and half of the three hours. Easy course. Study her slides and do questions from the book. Going to her class and paying attention helps a lot to get a good mark.

Beth Hamilton is a nice lady but she doesnt help you at all. Notes: 6 slides per class that does not clearly explain how to do the work. It is supposed to be a 3 hr class and she makes it no longer than 40 mins because she doesnt teach anything

The course is supposed to be easy since your allowed a cheat sheet and a graphing calculator that does all the complex calculations.. however she has the tendency to shorten a 3 hour lecture to 1 hour and sometimes even 45 minutes, I'd rather get my moneys worth and actually sit through the full 3 hours.. so my advice is yeah swap right away..

She is really not that helpful. You basically have to teach yourself. The only positive side of her is that she teaches for only about an hour of the three hours so you get to always leave yearly but I'd rather stay the whole three hours and actually be taught. So yah, I say switch if you can but she is not the WORST.

She doesn't teach well at all. Her quizes and ,midterm were the easiest, but they were m/c which didn't prepare us for the short answer final. If you get her, get other classes reviews and you will be fine for the exam, especially because she didn't teach regression at all. Don't expect much help from her either, she comes off as quite lazy.

Totally waste of time. Not helpful at all. Doesn't teach, she reads aloud. She does like 30min-1hour lectures of the 3 hours you pay for and should have. Trust me having short lectures in QMS is useless, it will come back at you during the final. Make sure if you do take her to get notes from all other profs.
