Ive known miss Naghshi for a while and Ive never been disapointed, people need to understand that the reason of their bad marks are themselves, she just grades them, whats wrong with that?I feel bad for her she does not deserve all this negativity, shes just human like all of us. Overall great teacher!
One of the best teachers, some might see her as "rude or not caring" but in the contrary she takes time looking after her studets, all it takes is just to talk to her. Her teaching was serious, comprehensive yet fun! My favorite way of learning was group projects, I get to make friends and work and build up together something awesome!
Honestly, she's a little rough around the edges regarding her personality, but she will treat you fairly if you try. My one gripe with her was how her course was organized. It was a DISASTER to navigate. This professor's course syllabus was a mess. I spent more time tracking down where to find my homework in the textbooks than actually doing it.
I wanted to like her. I really did. She understands the material but does not fully cover the needed course material. Every test we had included concepts that were not taught to us and not in the reading material. Even if you study hard you will have the rug pulled out from under you on her tests. Avoid at all costs. Studying won't help you here.
Attitude towards the students is bad. It is good when the professor is strict but the way the professor approaches the students is not good. Gets mad when you say that your having a hard time and can't keep up because it's overwhelming
I am taking CFRE501 with Roxaneh now. She is a great professor. Very knowledgeable, supporting, she knows how to explain a complicated french grammar in a simple way. She provides you with books, presentations, videos, useful websites, books, audio -everything you need to succeed in a class. You will have to work hard, but you will learn a lot. A.
She has very high expectations for the class considering that french is our second language. She is a tough grader and she can be rude when giving feedback. I've been a french immersion student for 12 years and she said my grammar is unacceptable at this level. Instead of providing constructive criticism, she points out mistakes and insults you.
Avoid her at all costs, if you have her, drop immediately. If she doesn't like you, she will screw your paper. She is extremely unfair marker and rude. Not good at explaining grammar. Her class is a waste of time and money. Her teaching method is just completing exercises after exercises from the textbook and correcting them on the board. She do
