Akua Benjamin

Here is a prof that not only knows her stuff, but lives it. I have never been so motivated to do my best for a prof as with Akua. It was an honour to have been taught by her.

Akua will not answer questions. No exageration, on her field visit my field instructor asked her many questions and she wouldn't answer one. Her paper requirements did not make any sense. I'm told she normally teaches graduate classes, maybe she should stick with those.

A wonderful instructor,& decent person.She is wise, compassionate,& knowledgeable;practices what she preaches.She displayed grace and patience with our class,which was not always easy.Many of the students had a sheepish attitude,& seemed lacked a genuine commitment to social justice,but Akua never got frustrated.It was an honor being taught by her.
