Anne is a sweet lady that suffers from the design of the JRN 272 course. The main gripe I have with her is the readings she assigns. Perhaps instead of assigning 7000 to 10 000 word features, you can assign us 700-1000 word ones, since those are the ones we need to write for class. She is very personable though.
She can get stuck on irrelevant details sometimes, both in marking and during readings in class. But she genuinely cares about her students and wants you to succeed. If she sees that you're trying, she will do anything to help you. I wish more teachers cared as much as she does.
Anne is probably the sweetest person i've ever met. if i had the choice of taking another course with her i would take it in a heart beat. she makes you feel like you can do anything lol
Anne is the best prof I've ever had, and I've got 5 years of High school and 2 years of university under my belt. She's funny, kind, genuine, and above all, the sort of person who praises you for your strengths while making it clear to you what you need to do to improve your weaknesses. I'm not going to lie, this course is tough, but Anne rocks.
Anne is the best journalism prof! She is funny and easy going and gives amazing feedback. She does the assignment for you herself when you ask her a question.
Anne is an incredible professor. I'm so glad I had her first year in Journalism. She's very specific when it comes to editing and will explain to you exactly where you need to improve. Sometimes she tends to ramble on and go off topic but it kept the classes interesting! She's sweet, funny and easy to talk to. If you have Anne, you're in luck!
Anne is a lovely person, incredibly kind and easy to talk to. Her lectures are pretty good, nothing spectacular. The issue I had with her was that she'd give me Bs on papers with no errors, and when I asked for feedback she'd just say you did a really great job I don't think she picked favourites but somehow her As seemed random and sporadic.
Anne is a truly wonderful person. So kind, but very good at editing, and will make any work you submit better. I was grateful to have her for my first year of journalism, as she was easy to talk to outside of class and I felt comfortable asking for more feedback and advice when needed.
Without a doubt THE sweetest lady alive! She's very passionate and excited about print news and that excitement will rub off on you. Who cares if she's disorganized?
