I can't believe how unfair his marking system was. I had to figure things out on my own in order to do well because he would never help during office hours.
Did not know how to run D2L quizzes but still gave them to us and ended up leaving us in the dark when they weren't running popular.
The professor makes mistakes but then blames the students for it. Does not take accountability and does not care if your mark is affected because of it.
He was a horrible professor. We had an error when writing the quizzes that was due to him not understanding how to use D2L but blamed us for not doing well on it. Tough marker and has no sympathy for the students.
He has a very good kitten named Daisy. Live zoom lectures with iclickers. Group projects were fun and interesting. Make a formula sheet, you'll need it for the quizzes.
Professor Tavakkoli taught this course very well and his slides are pretty detailed. He definitely shows a passion for what he teaches. However, the mark scheme he uses is very specific and causes you to lose marks for slight differences in wording.
Try not to fall asleep hes as monotone as it gets
Best prof for physics. He breaks down difficult concepts into simple parts, making it very easy to understand. Very straightforward and direct. He posts his lecture notes online. The online notes were very clear and provided step by step solutions to the example questions. One of my favorite profs!
He's alright overall. Knowledgeable about the material and also very passionate about teaching medical physics. He's approachable in the office hours. His guest lectures were good too. However, he needs to have a proper review session for the exam and increase the weightage of the midterm to atleast 30% and decreasing the iclicker/quizzes one.
